Pacific Grove Art Center Youth Art Classes and Camps offers after school, weekend, and summer art classes for kids that include a range of art activities. The program includes creative opportunities for teens and connects to exhibits, lectures, forums, and music and cultural events that take place at the Pacific Grove Art Center. Youth classes take place alongside other offerings at the center, such as Art and Movement classes for adults.

Since 1969, Pacific Grove Art Center has been a community based nonprofit. Its mission is to cultivate the arts throughout the Monterey area by creating experiences that inspire and engage, touch hearts, challenge minds, and enrich lives. The center features four exhibit galleries named Nadine Annand, David Henry Gill, Elmarie Dyke, and Louise Cardeiro Boyer, as well as seventeen professional artist studios and the Peninsula Ballet Center. Exhibits change every other month and are celebrated with a First Friday Gala Opening, and the next exhibit runs March 6 through April 23, 2026. The organization describes itself as community based, with low cost classes, free exhibits, and reduced rent for artist studios for over 40 years, and it supports a variety of programs and collaborations that emphasize communication, education, diversity, and community. The Board of Directors includes Karen Owen (President/Chair), Misha Pavlov (Board 1st Vice President), Emily Fantelli (Secretary), Amanda Menefee (Board Treasurer), and board members Adrianne M. Jonson, Dixie Layne, Shahla Safaie, Aiden Ponce, Anthony DeMers, Sam Al-Maqtari, Fiona Leahy, Jameson Paull, Micah Stamps, and Bob Pacelli.
