Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop Classes

The Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop Classes offer children the opportunity to engage in three specific dance styles: Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. These classes are designed to provide a diverse dance experience for participants.

Ms. Nina Baratova has been the Director of Classical Ballet of California since 1997. The leadership team includes Gregory Amato as Co-director, with Aline Carili teaching Contemporary classes and Minna Rogers also on staff. The program has a history of community involvement, incorporating students and volunteer members from the community. Additionally, the program boasts a unique feature of a 22 city, 4 state tour of The Nutcracker with the Russian Festival Ballet of Moscow. The program has received an Emerging Artist Grant from the Sacramento Mayor and the Metropolitan Arts Commission.
