Classical Ballet of California offers Pre-Ballet, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4/5, Level 6, JR company, 2nd Company, Company, Adult, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Pre-Ballet is for ages 3-4, Level 1 for ages 4-5, Level 2 for ages 5-6, Level 3 for ages 6-7, Level 4/5 for ages 7-9, Level 6 for ages 10-12, Hip Hop for ages 6-12, and Contemporary for ages 13+.

About the provider

Nina Baratova and Gregory Amato lead Classical Ballet of California. Ms. Baratova has directed the program since 1997. She trained with the San Francisco Ballet School and Barbara Crockett in Sacramento, was a former principal with the Sacramento Ballet, was a finalist in the 5th International Ballet Competition in Paris, and received an Emerging Artist Grant from the Sacramento Mayor and the Metropolitan Arts Commission. Mr. Amato studied at the San Francisco Ballet School and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York under full scholarships and won the gold medal in the Fred Astaire International Ballroom Dance Competition. CBC offers at least two performance opportunities each year: The Nutcracker and a Spring Production, and its inclusive casting policy states that every student receives a role and no dancer is ever turned away.
