EarthCapades Environmental Education Assembly Programs features circus acts, magic tricks, music, dynamic juggling acts, comedy, storytelling, singing, stilt walking, unicycling, and circus arts coaching. The program presents environmental edutainment that blends theatrics, circus, music, and technology, and includes Environmental Theater programs, Environmental Education Assembly Programs, and EarthCapades Environmental Vaudeville. EarthCapades also offers an online store with recorded assemblies and Terra Turtle T-shirts (coming soon).

EarthCapades has been providing Environmental Education Assembly Programs since 1997, with copyright dates listed as © 1997–2025. Lissin Lev Chaya and Hearty (also known as D. Heartlife) are co-directors, with Lissin serving as co-director and performer and Hearty serving as executive director, co-founder, and performer; their child, Kai Heartlife, is a performer who juggles, creates art, and writes poetry. Lissin studied storytelling, juggling, stilt walking, improvisation, organic gardening, and Earth wisdom at the IDA School for Organic Arts in Tennessee, and has also studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Interlochen Arts Camp, and The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. Lissin serves as Sheli’ach Tzibbur (Service Leader) for the Coastside Jewish Community and leads Community Song Circles. Hearty has been a professional entertainer and entrepreneur since 1987, holds a BA in Environmental Education, has worked as a teacher, co-founded the Boogie Down Jugglers in San Francisco, and created the Greatest Show 4 Earth, and has studied comedy with Dan Holzman of the Raspyni Brothers and circus with Chinese Master Acrobat Mr. Lu Yi. Hearty is also described as a circus arts coach, massage therapist, web-master, tree hugger, and surfer. Kai was a Youth Speaks Poetry Slam Finalist in 2022 and 2023 and served on the YS SPOKES Youth Advisory Board in the 2022/2023 school year.

According to the program’s mission statement, EarthCapades provides inspirational and engaging environmental edutainment programs in schools, festivals, and theaters to cultivate a healthy, thriving ecosystem for all, and uses highly skilled and captivating theatrics, circus, music, and technology to inspire audiences to experience a joyful connection with the Earth. The programs are described as seamlessly integrating Earth science and positive environmental choices, inspiring environmental consciousness, and “making every day Earth Day.”
