Pacifica AYSO Region 157 offers youth soccer through a Fall soccer league, a Spring soccer season with a handful of teams, and Summer Camps. The program also offers UK camps and participates in the 2026 Milliken Fog Classic Tournament.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Player registration is held each spring and ends by July, with league play beginning the weekend after Labor Day in September and lasting for 8–10 weeks.
Pacifica AYSO Region 157 is an all volunteer recreational soccer league and is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization. It offers several programs, including the PlayGround (U04) Fall Program, SchoolYard (U05) Fall Program, Core (U6–U14) Program, Core (U16–U19) Program, the EPIC (Special Needs Program), the Alliance program, and the AYSO PLAY! program. All coaches and referees are volunteers, most often parents of players, and board members volunteer throughout the year, with some continuing after their children have aged out of AYSO. Teams are scaled by age groups with younger players having fewer players on the field, AYSO uses age-appropriate small-sided games for younger children, and AYSO guarantees each child who registers plays at least half of every game. AYSO uses balanced teams, placing players on new teams each year based on skill level and the overall ability of the team, and Pacifica AYSO is governed by the National AYSO Standard Policies and Protocols, with the region able to adopt changes and additions to those standards.

Pacifica AYSO Region 157 is described by the Regional Commissioner as the largest sports organization in Pacifica. The current leadership team includes roles such as Regional Commissioner, Regional Referee Administrator, Child & Volunteer Protection Advocate, Coach Administrator, Registrar, Safety Director, Secretary, Treasurer, division coordinators, schedulers, Youth Referee Mentor, City Fields Liaison, Equipment Manager, Director of Fields, Region Representative, Auditor, Sponsor Coordinator, Event Coordinator, and Webmaster.
Pacifica AYSO is a child-first and child-focused soccer organization and is governed by the National AYSO Standard Policies and Protocols. AYSO partners with BEEUP as the Official Fruit Snack Partner for the 2025–2026 season, and there are partnerships involving AYSO and Chicago Public Schools, the US Center for Mental Health & Sport, and the Northland Sports Alliance. Michael Karon, President of AYSO, received the Stack Leadership Award from Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering.
