Pacifica Ignite Volleyball Programs

Pacifica Ignite Volleyball Club Programs offers volleyball programs that include clinics, competitive tournament play, Summer League, assessments, tryouts, open gyms, Fall Ball, Sparks, Boys Embers, and fundraising on travel teams. The Summer League is created to optimize team play through game simulation practices with experienced coaches, and every player in the Summer League has the opportunity to train for all positions. Drop in passes are available for those who cannot make the full season, and programs and clinics are offered at varying skill levels, including coed offerings.

Pacifica Ignite Volleyball Club Programs launched in June 2024. The leadership team includes Coach Carlos Chia, Girls Volleyball Program Director and Head Coach, and Coach Claire, Founder of the Positive Coach. The club partners with Coach Claire, Founder of the Positive Coach, and has coached over 400 players across the Bay Area, including the coast, San Francisco, and the greater Peninsula. Programs now include coed offerings, and every player on travel teams is invited to fundraise, with every dollar raised going back to the player.

Carlos is an NASM Certified Professional Trainer. Carlos served as a 2008 US Olympic Team Court Coach and a USA National Team Scouting Coach, and coached Peru’s National Beach Volleyball teams. Carlos led teams to an AAU National Championship in 2004 and a National Runner-Up finish in 2005, along with multiple top-10 open division finishes. At Northern Kentucky University, Carlos achieved a .771 winning percentage and a #1 national ranking, winning seven conference championships. Coaches attended Coach Chijo's Coach Clinic 2025 and the Art of Coaching Volleyball via NCVA, and coaches undergo continued training to keep up with the latest volleyball technique. Programs continue to evolve with offerings such as Fall Ball, Sparks, and Boys Embers.
