Thrive Jiu-Jitsu & Martial Arts is described as a martial arts school with more than 10 years of history. The leadership team includes Odilon “Oj” Domingues as Head Professor and Owner, Debra Arana as Professor, Claudia Pagnoncelli Stephens as Instructor, and Felix Deydish as Coach. Its mission statement says the school focuses on transforming body and mind into physical and mental strength with a winning mindset, and on building an unbreakable spirit by promoting a strong mind and body in its students.

San Mateo County issued a proclamation declaring May 28, 2025, as “Professor OJ Domingues Day” throughout the county in recognition of Professor OJ Domingues’ contributions through Thrive Jiu Jitsu. Parent and guardian testimonials describe the instructors as knowledgeable and caring, the environment as positive, uplifting, and family-oriented, and note that children are seen and valued, with several families mentioning growth physically, mentally, and emotionally and an emphasis on discipline, respect, and strong fundamentals.
