About the provider

Palos Verdes Peninsula Summer School offers summer academic and enrichment programs to support and supplement those offered by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. It operates as a Supplementary Education Program under PEF and is not part of PVPUSD. The program welcomes students from other districts. Its leadership team includes Suzanne Seymour, Senior Director, Programs, and Adam Genovese, Director, Summer High School.

PVPSS is a Supplementary Education Program operating under PEF and is not a part of PVPUSD. It operates independently from the school district and rents the space from PVPUSD rather than being owned, operated, or governed by the district. All PVPSS sites have administrative staff trained in first aid and CPR. A certified school nurse supports the program. Students with individualized medical needs will have a plan in place that the family and site staff agree to prior to the first day of summer school.
