Palos Verdes Peninsula Summer School offers summer academic and enrichment programs that include courses and workshops for students entering grades TK–12. The high school program includes academic courses for advancement as well as enrichment workshops that take place during the summer term.

• Schedule: 2026 Summer Programs run June 15 – July 10 for Summer Elementary School and Summer Intermediate School, and June 15 – July 23 for Summer High School
Palos Verdes Peninsula Summer School operates as a Supplementary Education Program under Peninsula Education Foundation and is not a part of Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, although it works collaboratively and welcomes students from other districts. The program does not receive funding from the state or federal government and operates without public financial support. The mission of Peninsula Education Foundation is to raise and grant funds to enhance educational excellence for Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District students.
All sites have administrative staff who have been trained in first aid and CPR, and the program has support from a certified school nurse. For students with individualized medical needs, a plan is put in place that the family and site staff agree to before the first day of summer school, and once a student is registered, the program contacts the family to schedule a meeting about those medical needs. The high school program’s academic courses for advancement are UC, CSU, NCAA, and WASC accredited.
The leadership team includes Suzanne Seymour, Senior Director, Programs, and Adam Genovese, Director, Summer High School. Elementary principals are listed as Cornerstone – Elisa Morreale and Rachel Dunbabin, and Silver Spur – Jasmine Arajasbi and Starr Nagdev, with intermediate principals for Ridgecrest and PVIS to be announced.
