Mystic Canyon Stable

Mystic Canyon Stable offers recreational horseback riding lessons and camps that include grooming, tacking up, riding, untacking, and handling lesson equines. Participants spend time learning to safely handle, tack up, ride, and care for lesson equines, as well as observing a lesson and playing with the critters. The program teaches English, Western, Bareback Pad, and bare bareback riding styles, with an emphasis on learning about the whole horse from head to hoof and building a rewarding relationship with equines on the ground and in the saddle, along with fostering friendships with fellow riders.

Mystic Canyon Stable is led by Tiffany Chiu and a team of instructors. The program’s stated mission is “Responsible Horsemanship = Grooming, Tacking up, Riding, Untacking, and Beyond.” Classes fill up and have wait lists, and poor cell service at the barn means emailing is recommended as the best contact method. The barn does not have a posted barn address or stable sign and is accessed via a flat dirt lot with a palm tree and a lighted horse crossing.
