The After School Program offers fun, social, and educational activities, along with outdoor play. The program includes a variety of activities each weekday afternoon during the school year.
• Ages: 4–12 years old (Kindergarten to Grade 6; children must be enrolled in Kindergarten for the upcoming September 2026 school year to participate)
• Schedule: Runs each weekday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., from September 2026 to June 2027; drop-off time is strictly between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Price: The total cost for the program from September to June is $1,500 per child.
The 2026–2027 After School Program is offered for the 2026–2027 school year, with a total of 40 registration spaces available: 20 spaces for children in Kindergarten to Grade 2 and 20 spaces for children in Grades 3–6. Registration for the 2026–2027 After School Program is online only and is completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens to Paradise residents only on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and opens to non-Paradise residents on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. if spaces remain. Parents and guardians may only register children from their own family.
Children arriving from school by bus are signed in by the bus driver. All vehicles must use Sarah Davis Way to access the designated drop-off area. Only individuals listed on the registration form are authorized to pick up children unless prior arrangements have been communicated to staff.
Participants must be able to manage their own personal care, bathroom needs, and hygiene independently, or attend with an independently hired respite worker. Respite workers must remain with the participant for the entire duration of the program, including mealtimes, and must provide the Town with a Code of Conduct and a Vulnerable Sector Check. Children must bring their own snacks, as well as a water bottle and sunscreen when required, and should come dressed and prepared for outdoor play in all weather conditions. Refunds are only issued for medical reasons and must be supported by a doctor’s note.
