Stars After School and Summer Enrichment Programs

Stars After School and Summer Enrichment Programs offers group mentoring, site-based mentoring, and one-on-one mentoring, along with after school programs that include homework help and enrichment activities. The program includes college support starting in Kindergarten, counseling services, and spiritual and personal development programs, as well as exercise and food programs. During the summer, participants can take part in summer activities such as the summer “SKILLZ” school, Arts Camp, Summer Gardening Workshops, and a New Orleans Trip for fire-impacted youth.

Stars is a nonprofit organization with a stated mission to be a community that affirms, equips, and emboldens young people to pursue a life of purpose, service, and meaning. The organization has been active from 2001–2026. Stars is involved in the community through mentorship and educational programs for youth in the Pasadena-area and Antelope Valley, food distribution to families, and disaster relief resources, including youth leadership experiences related to disaster recovery and community resilience. The program also offers counseling services in both Spanish and English and a low-cost counseling program, as well as a wellness program that includes spiritual and personal development, exercise, and food programs.
