Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena After-School Programs

Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena After-School Programs offer activities in creative arts, STEM, leadership, wellness, sports, and other arts and leadership activities. Each clubhouse provides a weekly schedule packed with fun after-school hours that include these activity options. Whether a child is interested in academics, sports, arts, or leadership activities, the program includes options in each of these areas.

Since 1937, the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena has been a cornerstone of the community and has been building great futures. The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena is to provide youth and teens with the environment, relationships, and opportunities that equip them to build essential skills to learn, lead, and succeed. The program offers out-of-school activities focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and leadership, and life and workforce readiness. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of members by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence. Youth ages 5–18 are encouraged to join, and the organization is dedicated to providing affordable after-school programs in Pasadena. Each year, its four local sites serve more than 1,500 Pasadena-area kids and teens, and club sites offer after-school programs for youth in Pasadena, Altadena, and Sierra Madre. Each location offers a mix of opportunities tailored to its community, and the organization states that it creates diverse, inclusive environments where every young person, caregiver, staff member, board member, and volunteer is valued, respected, and has a voice. The organization also notes a Future Ready plan to reimagine spaces, deepen programming, and create a new teen center shaped by youth voices.
