Founded in 1989 by Cheryle Armstrong, Class Act Dance & Performing Arts Studio has operated for nearly four decades. The studio’s mission is to cultivate excellence through dance and performing arts education and to provide training to individuals of all ages and skill levels who are passionate about the performing arts. Class Act Dance has become a longstanding part of Paso Robles and its neighboring communities.
Each CAD instructor either holds a degree or minor in dance or has trained at Class Act Dance as an alum for at least five years. The leadership team includes Founder and Ballet Instructor Cheryle Armstrong and Owner and Paso Robles Dance Collective Director Rachel Connerton, along with CAD Kids Instructor Sara Cromwell, Ballet Director Theresa Broussard Comstock, and PRDC Production Choreographer & Rehearsal Director Doriana Sanchez. Doriana Sanchez received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Choreography for Cher: Live in Concert - From the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and a World Choreography Award for Concert Choreography for the Cher D2K Tour, and The Living Proof Tour was honored with four Emmy Awards including Outstanding Musical Variety Special.
