About the provider

Since 2011, more than 30,000 schoolchildren have visited Studios on the Park for hands-on professional art classes completely free of charge as part of its Kids Art Smart program. Studios on the Park, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a creative, educational, and transformational experience to enhance understanding and appreciation of the visual arts, and it realizes that commitment by making the creative process available to the public. Studios serves over 100,000 students and visitors every year through its Kids Art Smart and Community Arts Access programs.

Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for all Studios sponsored classes with fees. Space is limited, so register early. Walk-ins will be accommodated only if space is available. Email registration is preferred. Payment with cash or check is preferred, but credit cards are accepted. Cancellation requires one week in advance for a refund. Sign-language interpreters are available for an additional fee for classes requiring pre-registration; ten-day advance notice is required. Photographs may be taken by Studios staff during classes and used for promotional purposes.
