Toledo Soccer & Futsal Academy offers a Soccer & Futsal Program Training Curriculum that includes specific activities such as a Futsal Camp and Soccer & Futsal camps throughout the year. The program includes training and playing futsal, with an emphasis on a methodology that brings a Brazilian flavor to instruction and coaching, focusing on flair, creativity, possessing the ball, applying ginga, and trying new skills. The academy offers year-round programs for girls and boys of all ages and ability levels, led by instructors described as “teachers of the game” who are there to help participants learn and have fun playing soccer and futsal.

Established in 1985, Toledo Soccer & Futsal Academy operates under the mission of “Teaching and Inspiring Youngsters to Play the Beautiful Game.” The founder and director, Manny Toledo, is described as a lifelong ambassador of the game and holds a National “C” Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation. Manny has coached boys’ and girls’ soccer and futsal programs at Brea High School, Troy High School, and Cerritos College, served on the CIF-Southern Section Soccer Advisory Committee from 1984 to 1988, and coached the CYSA Boys U14 team under the U.S. Olympic Development Program from 1989 to 1997. Through the academy, he has hosted soccer and futsal camps throughout Orange County, including Brea, Placentia, Fullerton, and Yorba Linda, where over 9,000 boys and girls have trained since 1987. Training and playing futsal at the academy is stated to improve speed of play and decision making.
