About
College for Kids offers classes that include coding and robotics, cartooning, slow-motion Lego, 3D printing, chemistry, engineering, algebra, math puzzles, and watercolor. The program is part of DVC's summer STEAM offerings for youth entering 4th–9th grades and includes classes in science, writing, computer technology, engineering, math, performing arts, and more. Sessions are offered in-person, hybrid, and online.

• Schedule: Afternoons, usually 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., in two 3-week sessions
Diablo Valley College officially began offering classes in 1949, and the name Diablo Valley College was adopted in 1958. Diablo Valley College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Faculty from Diablo Valley College's various career education programs are in continuous dialog with the surrounding community to keep pace with emerging technologies and new skill requirements.
