Hackingtons describes itself as an after-school academy for kids ages 8–16 designed to make technology fun, creative, and empowering. The program uses a project-based approach with hands-on classes where kids build real games, 3D-printed creations, and Arduino electronics, and it follows a belt ranking system from White to Black belt. It offers mentor teachers, a structured curriculum focused on building real-world applications, games, and robotics projects, and events and community activities such as hackathons and showcases. Hackingtons has in-person locations in Pleasant Hill, Dublin, Brentwood, and Rocklin, CA, and also offers Remote Hackingtons Pro live online classes available anywhere in the US, including summer classes for kids ages 8–16. Families can try a free first class with no commitment.
Parent and student comments about Hackingtons include: “Nobody makes learning how to code as much fun as Hackington's does,” from a parent named Lau A. An 11-year-old student named Celia says, “Hackingtons brings people together over coding with funny and inspirational teachers...” A 15-year-old student named Yaroslav says, “I've attended many coding programs, but only Hackingtons focused on building practical applications for the real world.” Another parent, Cathleen, says, “He loves it more than anything he's ever done.” Hackingtons lists © 2014–2026 All Rights Reserved.
