I.S. Kim's Martial Arts

IS KIMS Martial Arts offers training in Taekwondo and Judo. The program includes traditional martial arts classes as well as elite competition programs in these disciplines. Taekwondo classes range from traditional to competition-focused, and Judo is taught through a structured curriculum.

Grand Master In Shik Kim founded IS KIMS Martial Arts in 1977 with a vision to develop strong character through disciplined martial arts training. The leadership team includes founder and head master Grand Master In Shik Kim, Master Jennifer Kim, and Master Josh Park. Grand Master In Shik Kim is a graduate of Yong In University, a former chairman of the Korean Judo Association (US), and an AAU Chairman in Iowa. Master Jennifer Kim has over 35 years of martial arts experience and is a UC Davis graduate with a degree in Child Development. Master Josh Park has been practicing martial arts for over 32 years and is a UC Davis graduate with a degree in Economics. The program offers Taekwondo classes beginning at age 3.5 and up, with options from traditional to competition, and a Judo curriculum that begins for ages 7 and up. Their coaches have raised national champions in both Taekwondo and Judo, and they offer programs for both recreational practitioners and world class competitors.
