Village Music School

Village Music School offers private music lessons, buddy lessons with a friend or two, classes, Musical Theatre Workshop, Village Musical Dojo, Village Ensemble, and B# Club. Instrument rentals are also available.

• Village Ensemble — Ensemble play using Classical Canons and Contemporary Hits.
• B# Club — Practice goal-setting and improve playing; weekly practice goals can enter students into a raffle.

About the provider

Village Music School was established in 2000. Its mission statement says it believes music presented in a fun, supportive environment using materials that inspire practice and commitment helps students develop a love and understanding for music that will last a lifetime. Village Education Foundation has donated over $60,000 to local school fundraisers and has helped local schools raise funds for computer labs, musical instruments, art supplies, music lessons, and more.

Private lessons are scheduled on a month-to-month basis. Students beginning their lessons mid-month will have tuition adjusted accordingly. Buddy lessons are for students who want to take music lessons with a friend or two. Village recitals take place in the Village Theatre and all Village students are encouraged to perform in spring and/or holiday recitals.
