My Spanish Village offers language classes with 100% Spanish instruction in a fully immersive environment, along with circle time, story-time, art projects, and outdoor play as part of an age-appropriate daily curriculum. Children can join weekly cooking classes, weekly ceramic classes, gymnastics, dance, ballet, karate, sports, and traditional Hispanic dance, as well as themed activities such as “Do art with anything!”, “Are dinosaurs back?”, “Jungle critters”, “Crazy science”, “Exploring Latino flavors cooking”, and “Bugs Life.” The program also includes a variety of enriching extracurricular classes throughout the year and a summer camp program with a range of activities in weekly themed camps.

For over 17 years, My Spanish Village has been providing language education to young children through Spanish Immersion Preschool and Kindergarten programs, including 18 months to Kindergarten at the Pleasant Hill Campus and two campuses in the Bay Area. The academic program is described as thoughtfully designed, with a daily curriculum and small class sizes that build strong foundations in reading, writing, and math by age five, while also supporting social-emotional growth and independence in a structure that teaches real-life skills and encourages students to make choices, care for themselves and others, and develop respect for their surroundings, nature, and community. Teachers at My Spanish Village are bilingual in Spanish and English, hold degrees in early childhood education or related fields, have experience working with young children, and all teachers and assistants are CPR and First Aid certificated. The program’s mission states that it aims to go beyond teaching another language by focusing on students growing and developing as healthy, kind human beings, making the first formal academic experience a happy one, and being dedicated to student growth in all areas of human development. My Spanish Village has received Diablo Magazine’s “Best of East Bay” award in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and families attend from and are served in multiple surrounding cities, including Pleasant Hill, Concord, Walnut Creek, Danville, Martinez, Lafayette, Clayton, Alamo, Benicia, Oakland, San Ramon, Hayward, Berkeley, San Leandro, Pleasanton, and San Francisco.
