About

Pacific Rim Volleyball Summer Camps focuses on volleyball skills including serving, serve-receive, setting, hitting, defense, and team formations. The program offers Breakers 4-Day Beginners Camps and Shortboards 4-Day Intermediate Camps, with sessions using one or two courts and players grouped by level or by gender depending on the camp and time slot. Each camp at Pacific Rim is 4 days long so that a different fundamental skill of volleyball can be emphasized each day.

• Ages: 8–14 years old
• Schedule: 4-day indoor camps held Monday–Thursday, with Breakers Morning Beginners Camp from 9:30am–11am and Shortboards Intermediate Camps offered in 11:30am–1:30pm and 2pm–4pm time slots on multiple weeks in July
• Price: Each 4-Day Breakers Beginners Camp is $150. Each 4-Day Shortboards Intermediate Camp is $200.

Pacific Rim Volleyball Summer Camps are designed for players of all ages and skill levels, with beginners and intermediate level volleyball summer camps offered. The Breakers Camp is the summer skills camp for younger players who are just starting to learn the game and is designed for younger players aged 12 and under, or rising 3rd through 6th graders, who are working to improve basic skills, and it uses two courts coed sorted by level. The Shortboards Camp is the summer skills camp for middle school aged players with some volleyball experience and is designed for intermediate players aged 14 and under, or rising 7th and 8th graders, who have some volleyball experience and might be ready for team competition; the 11:30am–1:30pm camp has girls on one court and boys on another court, and the 2pm–4pm camp uses two courts for girls sorted by level. Pacific Rim strives to provide a comprehensive athletic experience in a positive and fun environment, with an objective to stress preparation, fundamentals and teamwork within the concept of good sportsmanship, and it emphasizes education, training (Academy), and competition (Club) as key components.
