Starlight Performing Arts Center offers dance classes for Parent and Me students starting at 18 months, plus dance classes for ages 3-5 and ages 6-18. It also offers Mini Kids Theatre for ages 4-7, Kids Theatre, Kids Comp Team, Jr Comp Team, Showstopper Comp Team, JR Theatre, Teen Comp Team, and Teen Theatre.

About the provider

Starlight Performing Arts Center has 25 years in the East Bay Area, first in Walnut Creek, then Martinez and Pleasant Hill. Its mission statement says it is an all inclusive space where children and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and special needs can feel safe and welcome. The program also lists more than a dozen performances a year, plus appearances in parades, county fairs, Warriors games, local carnivals and events, and Disneyland.

Starlight does not offer refunds for any reason. Make-up classes may be taken within 3 weeks by attending another class at the student's level, subject to availability. Families can pay by session or monthly. Music, themes and costumes are chosen to be healthy and age appropriate. Requires hair secured up and away from the face for every class.
