Starlight Studios

Starlight Studios offers theatre, dance, tumbling, cheer, and full musical theatre productions, including Kids and Minis Theatre. The program includes Mini Kids (4-7), Kids Theatre (8-14), intermediate and advanced musical theatre programs, a Junior Competition Team, Junior Theatre Repertory with two separate shows, a Teen Competition Team, and Teen Theatre Repertory with both a full production and a competition piece. All classes and performances are scheduled to be held at a brand new performing arts center in Downtown Pleasant Hill.

Starlight Studios states that it is an all inclusive space for children and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and special needs. The mission includes a belief that everyone should feel empowered and beautiful when they dance, that children should never have to wear bikinis on stage, and that music can be age appropriate and fun. No audition is required for Kids and Minis Theatre. Starlight offers after school enrichment, home school programs, and classes as part of school curriculum, and can bring dance, tumbling, cheer, and full musical theatre productions to schools.
