The Summer Day Camps include Seekers for youth ages 6–8 years old and Explorers for youth ages 9–12 years old, with activity lessons such as science, cooking and art, as well as crafts, sports and games, and two swimming trips to the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center. Teen Camp is for participants in middle school (11–14 years old), either entering or exiting, and includes crafts, sports and games while on site, two off-site excursions, and visits to the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center twice per week, with example excursions to Boomers, SkyZone, movie theaters, bowling and Shadow Cliffs. The Leader in Training (LIT) program helps teens prepare for future employment through training in essential job skills and engaging in meaningful volunteer work. LIT eligibility is open to students entering the 9th–10th grade in the fall of the following school year, and participants must be able to commit to at least two consecutive weeks to volunteer during June–July. All LITs must apply, attend an in-person orientation in April, be fingerprinted, attend a summer training, and volunteer for at least 2 weeks, with length of days varying between different volunteer areas. LIT students have the opportunity to volunteer during the summer and job shadow and gain meaningful experience within the City of Pleasanton, with volunteer opportunities available in Drama Camp, Gingerbread Preschool Summer Camp, Ridge Runners, and Summer Day Camp. The 2026 Leader in Training Program application has closed, and information about the 2027 Leader in Training program will be available in January 2027, with Francesca Kelly listed as a contact for the Leader in Training program.

The Tri-Valley Teen Job Fair is a free event where high school students meet and greet employers who are hiring and can sit in on workshops to build resumes, learn interview techniques and participate in a mock interview. Attendees of the Tri-Valley Teen Job Fair must bring their high school ID. The Tri-Valley Teen Job Fair date is Saturday, March 7, 2026, and it is a collaborative effort between the cities of Pleasanton, Danville, Dublin, San Ramon and the San Ramon/Dublin Women’s Club, with Katelyn Digiosaffatte listed as a contact for employers interested in participating. The City of Pleasanton and Pleasanton Unified School District also team up for Youth in Government Day.
