The camp serves campers in the Tri-valley cities of Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Castro Valley, and the East Bay through interactive activities, games, and art projects. The program states a belief that art is an important aspect of the holistic development of a child and focuses on creating STEM-based art. Camp Créatif Pleasanton describes that campers develop leadership skills, critical thinking, inventiveness, cultural awareness, and social and emotional intelligence through guided projects, arts and crafts, team-building exercises, and games, and that attendees pick up leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and other social and emotional skills. The camp also introduces kids to art history, including movements from Pop Art to pottery, and teaching artists lead sessions about different styles of art and the artists who created them.
Créatif describes itself as “the future of Art Studio Experience, where Art meets Technology,” with an award-winning art studio design focused on entertaining, educating, and inspiring customers. The studio design is described as modern, fresh, and contemporary, and is specifically crafted to encourage creativity, collaboration, and inspiration, with resources in place for a wide variety of art activities for kids and adults. The program notes that its camps are designed to give attendees freedom and resources to explore creativity with support from a dedicated team of creative professionals, that the environment encourages kids to get to know one another and work together on projects, and that making sure every child is fully engaged in a fun activity is the team’s highest priority. Camp Créatif Pleasanton offers unique weekly themes with full and half day options, reports that many campers return week after week, and states that activities are meticulously planned to engage even reluctant participants and to let children discover their inner creativity and socialize with others in their age group during school breaks. The program is part of Creatif, LLC, which holds copyright from 2018–2026, and describes its award-winning art studio design as focused on creating an impactful, holistic, and memorable art experience.
