Pleasanton Youth Theater Company

Pleasanton Youth Theater Company is a youth theater program run by The City of Pleasanton. Its offerings include year-round shows and theater programming, workshops, rehearsals, performances, and programs such as PYTC Cabaret, Sprout Performers & Lil Sprouts, Center Stage Performers, Encore Ensemble, Creatures of Impulse, Classes & Workshops, High School Music Collaborative - The Collaborative, HSMC Cabaret, Main Stage Musical Pit, and Art Classes at the Firehouse. PYTC Cabaret combines musical theater with cabaret and includes training in singing, acting, and stage presence.

About the provider

The program began running year-round shows and theater programming in 2019. Creatures of Impulse is entering its 16th season and is described as an award-winning improv troupe that specializes in long-form improv. The Firehouse Arts Center says its programs inspire creativity, build confidence, and bring people together through the arts, and that it serves as an inviting beacon strengthening community image and sense of place.
