The Summer Enrichment Program offers academic and extracurricular courses in science, mathematics, humanities, and the arts. Course activities use project-based inquiry so students work on topics of interest through problem solving in team-based scenarios. Students can take a range of both academic and extracurricular classes that focus on specialized areas not typically studied in the regular classroom.

• Schedule: Summer sessions take place over three weeks during the summer
The Summer Enrichment Program follows a program philosophy that emphasizes academically challenging, inquiry-based learning and recognizes the importance of allowing able youngsters to explore additional specialized areas of science, mathematics, humanities, and arts. Course activities are compatible with the expected achievement of students at specific grade and age levels, and there is a separate admissions process for non-students who want to attend the summer sessions. Staff for the program includes NASA educated science teachers, an Emmy-winning creative writing teacher, former UCLA professors, and gifted expert teachers. Oak Crest Academy, which runs the program, is a private co-educational secular school for academically gifted and talented students in grades JK–12, with low student-to-teacher ratios of 6:1 in Kindergarten, 6:1 in Lower Elementary, 5:1 in Upper Elementary, 7:1 in Middle School, and 5:1 in High School. Oak Crest Academy is fully accredited for gifted and talented students, uses William & Mary research-based curricula for gifted students, offers NCAA-approved courses, and has a national ranking in the 99th percentile. The school was founded in 2013 by Founder Jeannie Gudith and lists associations and partnerships as part of its community involvement.
