Camp Ladera offers a semi-structured day camp that includes arts and crafts, swimming, storytelling, talent shows, field games, and visits from special visitors. Campers are placed in age-appropriate groups, with a maximum of 48 attendees per session. Lunch is provided on Fridays, and campers must turn 5 on or before the first date of each camp session.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: One-week sessions, with Session 3 running June 29–July 2; weekly options for 10:00am–1:00pm or 10:00am–3:00pm
• Price: LRD Member Rates: 10–1pm session $395, daily drop-in $140; 10–3pm session $635, daily drop-in $205. Non-Member Rates: 10–1pm session $500, daily drop-in $165; 10–3pm session $740, daily drop-in $305. NO REFUNDS.
The Ladera Recreation District states that its focus has been to create a beautiful, comfortable setting that feels like a home away from home and a community center for everyone. Community events are described as essential to the Ladera Recreation District and can be hosted by an LRD member or Ladera resident. LRD is now open year-round with the 2023 completion of new aquatics facilities.
