Camp Ladera offers a semi-structured day camp that includes arts and crafts, swimming, storytelling, talent shows, field games, and visits from special visitors. Campers are placed in age-appropriate groups, with a maximum of 48 attendees per session. Lunch is provided on Fridays, and campers must turn 5 on or before the first date of each camp session.

• Schedule: Weekly sessions in 2026, with one shortened session June 29–July 2
• Price: LRD Member Rates: 10–1pm Session Rate $395, Daily Drop-In Rate $140; 10–3pm Session Rate $635, Daily Drop-In Rate $205. Non-Member Rates: 10–1pm Session Rate $500, Daily Drop-In Rate $165; 10–3pm Session Rate $740, Daily Drop-In Rate $305.
The 2026 Camp Ladera session dates are: Session 1 June 15–June 19, Session 2 June 22–June 26, Session 3 June 29–July 2 (shortened due to July 4th), Session 4 July 6–July 10, Session 5 July 13–July 17, Session 6 July 20–July 24, and Session 7 July 27–July 31. Families can select from two time slots by week: an early pickup option from 10:00am–1:00pm or a late pickup option from 10:00am–3:00pm. Camp Ladera is run and staffed by counselors who grew up attending Camp Ladera, and the program has a no-refunds policy. The mission of the Ladera Recreation District is to create a setting that feels like a home away from home and a community center for everyone, and community events are described as essential to the district and its membership.
