Jasper Ridge Farm Programs include a full-day summer camp for incoming 6th–9th graders, animal-assisted therapeutic visits, and nature-based learning. The summer camp and other programs offer hands-on experiences with animals and the natural environment. New for 2026, Jasper Ridge Farm is adding a Summer Camp centered on nature-based learning, wellbeing, and hands-on experiences away from screens and pressure.

Jasper Ridge Farm was founded in 2009. Its mission is to provide meaningful, interactive, animal-assisted therapeutic visits for children, teens and adults in the community. The programs include animal-assisted therapeutic visits for local children, teens and adults experiencing emotional and physical challenges, as well as other community groups such as veterans and active military, older adults and adults with disabilities, incarcerated women, corporate teams and community groups. The organization offers programs for local children with special needs or facing life-threatening illness, children who are at-risk, underserved and undervalued, newcomer children, families experiencing homelessness or grief, youth struggling with mental or emotional health challenges, and adults in similar situations.
The leadership team includes Brenda Melton (Executive Director), Arlo Bushnell (Development Director), Nicole Albuerne (Program Director), Allegra Stahl (Animal Care Manager), Margaret Block (Horse Care Manager), and Kira Furukawa (Animal Care Specialist). Additional leadership and advisory roles include Wendy Mattes (Founder, Grant Writer), Alex Lopez (Board Chair), Robb Falconer (Secretary), Steven Manocchio (Treasurer), Russ Peterson, DVM (Veterinary Consultant), Kim Griffin (Past Board Chair), and Rachel Lownds (Special Education Parenting Consultant).
