Poway ICE Skating and Hockey Programs offers activities such as public ice skating, Learn to Skate classes, freestyle sessions, youth and adult hockey leagues, hockey initiation, and specialty events. The program also includes figure skating camps, high performance summer skating camps and clinics held on freestyle sessions, Learn to Skate summer camp, Back To School All-Levels Camp, and private lessons. Additional options include Shoreline Synchro, San Diego Gulls Learn to Play, Little Ducks Hockey Initiation, San Diego Jr. Gulls, Stick Time, All-World Hockey Summer Camps, All-World Summer Camps, Robby Glantz Power Skating Summer Clinic, sled hockey and sled hockey events, birthday parties, and a Student Volunteer Program.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: General hours of operation are Monday–Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; each High Performance clinic is 30 minutes in length during a freestyle session, and the Adult High Performance Camp runs one day from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Price: Adult High Performance Camp (1 day) – $220
High-Performance Figure Skating Camps and Clinics at Poway ICE include clinics held on freestyle sessions, with the attached freestyle session included in the cost of the clinic. Each High Performance clinic is taught by a different instructor and focuses on a different aspect of skating, and skaters are required to maintain awareness of other skaters and follow freestyle policies. Training levels offered for the Adult High Performance Camp include Adult Pre-Bronze and Adult Bronze, Adult Silver and Adult Gold, and Masters Intermediate/Novice and Masters Junior/Senior, based on competitive or free skate level rather than skating skills testing level.
