Kid Camps at Poway Equestrian Center by San Diego Trail Company includes horsemanship, basic riding skills, groundwork and tacking, and learning about equine anatomy and behavior. Camp days include horseback rides, horseback games in the riding arena, water games and events, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, stretching and fun exercises, and a picnic lunch. Participants also have hands-on interaction with farm animals and spend time learning horsemanship skills, horse safety, and groundwork and communication.
