Camps by San Diego Trail Company at Poway Equestrian Center includes stretching and fun exercises, learning horsemanship skills, and learning horse safety. Campers take part in groundwork and communication with horses, horseback games in the riding arena, water games and events, picnic lunch horseback rides, scavenger hunts, and hands-on interaction with farm animals. The program also includes teaching basic riding skills, groundwork and tacking, equine anatomy and behavior, and arts and crafts, with an emphasis that FUN is the number one priority.
