Touch Shooting Academy of Basketball Training Sacramento offers basketball training that includes one-on-one skills evaluations and ongoing skill development training. Touch Shooting was founded in 2017. The program’s mission is that Touch Shooting Basketball Training Sacramento is built to sharpen skills, shape mindset, and fuel lifelong confidence—on and off the court. The leadership team includes Founder & CEO Ryan Sypkens, Lead Instructor Coach Christian Bayne, Lead Instructor Coach Jackson Burke, and Lead Trainer Coach Amir Carraway.
Ryan Sypkens holds the NCAA Big West Conference all-time career three-point record and was the NCAA national leader in three-point percentage, and he broke the single-game, single-season, and career three-point records at UC Davis before playing professional basketball in Colombia and Japan. His coaching experience includes head coaching at the National Prep School level (Prolific Prep - GSP) and working with NBA players Terence Davis, Jalen Green, and Jeenathan Williams, and he is a Certified Performance Psychologist through KBME who works directly with NBA mental skills specialist Graham Betchart. Coach Christian Bayne played college basketball at UC San Diego, earned all-conference honors three times, was one of the top scorers in the league, helped his team reach the NCAA tournament twice, averaged over 15 points per game, shot over 40% from three-point range in two seasons, led his team to a conference championship, and was conference MVP, and he later served as a Division 1 Assistant Coach at UC San Diego for three years. Coach Jackson Burke is a 94 Feet of Game Certified trainer who trained under NBA skills coach Phil Handy, founded The Hoopers Collective, has over five years of experience training more than 200 athletes from youth to college level, and is a high school coach at Inderkum.
Touch Shooting Academy of Basketball Training Sacramento offers a free one-on-one basketball skills evaluation, and the assessment is used to place athletes in the right program and recommend a personalized training plan. The program uses a development system built for long-term growth, with memberships built for growth, consistency, and long-term impact. The Touch Development League is where young players learn the game, and Team Touch is for 5th–8th grade players training year-round. The program also runs tournaments at elite basketball facilities.
All instructors must complete the TOUCH Certification process and are trained to teach the TOUCH Curriculum and philosophy and implement the TOUCH System in classes, camps, and clinics. Touch Shooting also offers a Touch Certification Course for skills trainers. The program has over 200 5-star Google reviews, and athletes and parents across Sacramento and Northern California use Touch Shooting for basketball training.
