Fast Break Youth Basketball offers skill development training, F.B.Y.B. League seasons in spring and fall, Friday Night Games, Wednesday Night Games, Night League, shooting clinics, shooting and ball handling clinics, travel ball, and personal training. Players take part in activities such as Skill Development Practice, Shooting and Ball Handling Clinics, and league games that include coaching, scorekeeper, and referees.
• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Skill Development Training practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with one-hour sessions; league seasons include 5 games and 6 team practices, and additional clinics and night leagues are scheduled on weeknights.
• Price: Pricing for the F.B.Y.B. League includes 5 games, uniforms, trophies, coaching, scorekeeper, referees, and 6 team practices.
Fast Break Youth Basketball is a year round open registration basketball training program for boys and girls ages 6–17. The Skill Development Program focuses on individual fundamental skills including ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, and strength and conditioning to prepare for competitive play. As a member of the Jr. NBA, the F.B.Y.B. League offered in spring and fall includes instruction in motion offense, Laker Cuts, Dribble Hand Off, Screen and Roll, Basket Cuts, man to man and zone defense concepts, and inbound plays, and states that everyone plays in these seasons.
The program’s Shooting Clinics have a specific focus on improving shooting mechanics and related footwork, and the Shooting & Ball Handling Clinics use a 5:1 coach to player ratio. The Travel Ball Program is described as successful, competitive yet affordable, A.A.U. level, and advanced only, with 10u through 16u teams that require a tryout and play primarily in the Inland Empire and Orange County throughout the year. The program offers personal training and other activities with an experienced coaching staff, and the Travel Ball Program is described as having an awesome coaching staff.
