About

Inland Empire Junior Golf Association offers weekly junior golf clinics, seasonal junior golf camps, and monthly junior golf tournaments. The program also includes PGA Jr. League, full swing, short game, putting, mental skill, and course play instruction, along with video instruction using the V1 Digital Coaching System and instruction using FlightScope.

Inland Empire Junior Golf Association was formed in 2016. Its stated goal and mission is to educate children about golf and valuable life skills as they grow into young adults and to compete in their highest level. The organization describes itself as a safe place for healthy competition while teaching the rules and etiquette of golf to juniors, and as an environment that will guide the children to grow into honest, responsible, and educated young adults while having fun and forming friendships with other kids with similar interests. Inland Empire Junior Golf Association brings the excitement of golf to the community. The leadership team includes Eric Yoo, PGA; Kimberly Gedra; Jason Lee, PGA Associate; Jonathan Roy; Nicole Lopez, PGA Associate; Simon Matibag, PGA Associate; and Greg Ochoa, PGA. Eric Yoo is a Class “A” PGA Golf Professional and Level 3 USGTF Teaching Professional, and has been the Head Golf Professional at Sierra Lakes Golf Club for many years. Jason Lee is enrolled in the PGA associate program. Nicole Lopez is currently enrolled in the PGA Associate Program and is working toward becoming a PGA golf teaching professional. Simon Matibag is actively pursuing PGA Professional status through the PGA Associate Program. Gregory Ochoa graduated in December of 2013 from the Professional Golfers' Career College in Temecula, California with a degree in Golf Management. The program uses the V1 Digital Coaching System and FlightScope for instruction. One testimonial from staff member Jonathan Roy states, “I hope to involve more players in this amazing sport of golf and not only show them the great opportunities that can arise, but also the amazing memories that can be made on the course.”
