Evolution Academy of Martial Arts

Evolution Academy of Martial Arts offers martial arts training that includes Karate based self-defense, kickboxing, grappling, and ground techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling. Students also practice throws and takedowns based on Judo, practical self-defense applications, and traditional forms.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday in the late afternoon and evening, and on Saturday late morning to early afternoon

Evolution Academy of Martial Arts was established in 2011. Instruction is led by Senseis Miguel and Patrick. The program follows a business model of private lessons mixed with group classes and offers a complementary intro class. Evolution Academy of Martial Arts serves students from Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and throughout the South Bay. The mission of Evolution Academy of Martial Arts states that it has been dedicated to helping the community become stronger, more confident, and better prepared for life’s challenges.
