Guided Nature Walks for the Whole Family offers monthly nature walks that focus on an hour-long sensory experience catered to children. During these walks, children explore topics such as birds, pollinators, plant reproduction, color exploration, and more.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Monthly, hour-long nature walks
The program is run by the South Bay Parkland Conservancy, whose mission is to inspire and empower communities to protect, tend, and nurture land, water, and life through advocacy, education, and hands-on stewardship. The leadership team includes Aga ChenFu (President / Communications), Mary Simun (Vice President / Biologist & Education Lead), and Mara Lang (Vice President / Operations). SBPC collaborates with community members, students, educators, environmental specialists, and local professionals to provide outdoor educational volunteer opportunities, resources, and project experience related to local ecology.
