Camps & Lessons offers Surf Camp, Beach Camp, Junior Guard Prep, JG Prep/Surf Combo, Surf Club, Surf Lesson, and scuba classes. Programs
- Surf Camp — Ages 8-17; also listed as Kids, Teens (Ages 5 to 17) · 9am to 3pm (all day), or 9am to noon / noon to 3pm (half day); by the day or by the week · $339–$2,275 per week · All levels welcome. 4:1 surfer to instructor ratio. - Beach Camp — Ages 4-8 · 9-12, 12-3 & 9-3, 10-2pm options · Non swimmers are welcome. Mostly beach games, boogie board, and teaching ocean respect and wave safety. Wetsuits and boards provided.
- Junior Guard Prep — Ages 8-14 · 9-12, 12-3 & 9-3pm options · Helps kids get ready for Junior Guards or have the same experience in a less competitive environment. Half and full day options. Redondo Beach only.
- JG Prep/Surf Combo — Ages 8-14 · 9-12, 12-3 & 9-3pm options · Splits the day with 3 hours of surf and 3 hours of Junior Guard Prep. Redondo Beach location only. Wetsuits and boards provided.
- Surf Club — Ages 8-17 · 8:30-11:30am · For more experienced surfers. Must be able to paddle out on their own. Topaz spot in Redondo Beach only. Bring your own board or rent a soft top.
- Surf Lesson — $150–$350 · Locations listed: Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Torrance Beach. Prices shown for 1 to 4 people, and 5 or more is $85/pp.

About the provider
The program was established in 1953 and has over seven decades of history. It is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center and has been awarded the #1 Surf School in Southern California. Its instructors are CPR, FIRST AID, AED, and lifeguard certified, and the program says community is the foundation of Dive N’ Surf.
Kids may schedule surf camp by the day or week. Non swimmers are welcome in Beach Camp. Half-day options are offered for surf camp and some other camps. Save 30% on 10+ weeks is stated for surf camp. Rentals need to be returned no later than 6pm the following day; late returns incur extra charges.
