Bravo Rhythmic Gymnastics

Bravo Rhythmic Gymnastics offers beginner classes for girls with little or no prior experience in rhythmic gymnastics. The beginner classes focus on flexibility, coordination, and apparatus handling, and the program also offers an intermediate class for gymnasts ages 7-12 who have some experience and are ready for the next step. It includes Pre-Team by invitation only, Xcel, and FIG & DVP/JO Developmental training.

Programs

• Beginner classes — 4-6; 6-12 · For girls with little or no prior experience in rhythmic gymnastics; focuses on flexibility, coordination, and apparatus handling.
• Intermediate class — 7-12 · For gymnasts ages 7-12 who have some experience and are ready for the next step; builds on foundational skills.
• Pre-Team — 5-8 · Intensive, non-competitive program by invitation only; athletes may be evaluated at the end of the season for Xcel 3 or Level 3 (DVP).
• Xcel — 8-16 · Flexible competitive pathway; divided into Xcel 3 (Beginner), Xcel 2 (Intermediate), and Xcel 1 (Advanced). All Xcel gymnasts are expected to compete throughout the season.
• FIG & DVP / JO Developmental — Levels 3-10 · Invitation-only developmental and FIG teams for athletes with strong potential and serious commitment; train at higher intensity and compete locally, regionally, and nationally.
• 2026 Summer Camps — 5-12 · $390 per week · Rhythmic gymnastics summer camps at Redwood City location.
• DVP/FIG/Xcel Intensive Camps — $450 per week · Competitive teams only; Redwood City.

• General schedule: Beginner classes and intermediate class are offered; beginner classes are for ages 4-6 and 6-12, and intermediate is for ages 7-12. Pre-Team is by invitation only. Xcel competition season is December-May with about 3-5 competitions per year. Summer camps run 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Intensive camps run 11:30 am-3:30 pm.

Bravo Rhythmic Gymnastics is a USA Gymnastics member club. It is described as one of Northern California’s strongest rhythmic gymnastics teams, with top placing rhythmic gymnasts in the region and nation.

Participation in Pre-Team is by invitation only. Xcel gymnasts are expected to compete throughout the season. Competition season is December-May. Summer camp cancellation/refund policy: 30+ days before camp start date full refund; 15-30 days before camp start date 50% refund; 14 days or less before camp start date no refund or credit, including medical reasons. No refunds or makeups for missed camp days.
