About
Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC) is a non-credit enrichment program in mathematics that includes lectures, guided research, and group problem solving. The program welcomes a select group of rising high school juniors and seniors from around the world for intensive study in advanced mathematics. Participants explore current lines of mathematical research, the historical development of important areas of mathematics, and applications across scientific disciplines.

• Schedule: Session One Online runs June 15, 2026–July 3, 2026; Session One Residential runs June 21, 2026–July 17, 2026; Session Two Online runs July 6, 2026–July 24, 2026
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies was inaugurated by the Provost in 2012 and serves more than 3,000 students per year in programs for grades 1–12. Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies advances the education of academically motivated, intellectually curious pre-college students through online and residential enrichment programs in the summer. Many programs in Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies are developed in close consultation with Stanford University faculty members, and students from more than 50 countries are represented in the student body.
Stanford Online High School, which is connected to Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies, is an accredited, diploma-offering, highly selective independent school for academically motivated students in grades 7–12. The broader leadership team for Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies and related programs includes directors, coordinators, faculty, and administrators such as Sara Mumolo, Nicole Varveris, Tanner Strong, Mariah Poitier, Taylor Henkel, Abby Roxas, Vanessa Barrios, Dan Edelstein, Ted Alper, Kaitlin Hughes, Autumn Warren, Kimia Habibi, Emily Hendershot, Ellen Duran Young, Alinne Ortiz, Lauren Lee, Hassib Saiedi, Sami Hamgam, Eunice Lee, Katherine Ogg, Nani Sarosa, Winnie So, Britta Buehnemann, Lisa Atluri, Kelly Kalnas, Diem Nguyen, Michael Schurr, Dan Colman, Gina Freeman, Elana Hornstein, Tomohiro Hoshi, Rafe Mazzeo, Kim Failor, and Tracy Steele.
