LEMO U’s mission states that it creates opportunities for young people to access supports, resources, and experiences through a supportive campus and enrichment programs, enabling students to play, learn, and grow to their full potential. The organization describes working across five pillars and using sport, education, and community to unlock each student's potential, and it references a Champion Scholarship Fund that levels the playing field for student-athletes through sport, education, and philanthropy. The mission also states a vision of social collaboration to craft the future, a pursuit of excellence and innovation for the next generation, and a shared responsibility to provide students access to opportunities and competitive resources.
LEMO U has partnered with PIEFEST to host the Bay Area Pasifika STEM Fair on the LEMO campus, including the first-ever P.I.E.F.E.S.T. STEM Fair. It has also partnered with PIEFEST, a non-profit founded in South San Francisco by Pacific Islander parents in search of a community within STEM. In addition, LEMO U partnered with Project Glimmer and Charles Schwab to host a screening of the film $avvy, and partnered with the Stanford Men’s Basketball Team for a free clinic provided to over 150 student-athletes in grades 4–12.
