About

Sensation Mixed Martial Arts offers training in Muay Lao, Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fitness, mixed martial arts, and MMA. The gym includes a little kid area where children can hang out until an adult class is done.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and training options are available Monday–Friday with morning, midday, and evening hours, on Saturday mornings, and by appointment on Sunday.

Sensation Mixed Martial Arts is led by Andre Soukhamthath and his wife, Jamie Soukhamthath, who manages the gym. Andre is a retired UFC fighter with almost 20 years of experience and has been described by reviewers as a Master of his craft and a UFC Veteran. His background includes being the first Laotian fighter signed to the UFC, the first-ever CES Bantamweight Champion, the #1 ranked bantamweight in New England and #2 in the nation, and earning recognition as the amateur Rocky Marciano Boxing Champion. Andre became a key member of the Blackzilians team and later trained with American Top Team, and the gym is officially affiliated with American Top Team.

The gym is described by reviewers as beautiful, very clean, and having everything needed to get a workout in, with a family friendly fun environment and curriculum style teaching. The program’s mission includes “Movement is medicine,” “The ultimate fusion of skill sets and styles,” and an invitation to “Join our programs embracing the challenge of each discipline.” Reviewers note that Andre is very good with kids, kind and patient, and that children and teens enjoy training there, including kids’ classes that can be followed by adult classes for parents. Multiple reviewers recommend the gym, mention world class instruction, competitive training, flexible class schedules, and describe Andre and Jamie as hard working, genuine, and caring.
