Sequoia NJB is a chapter of National Junior Basketball that runs a youth basketball program with practices, games, playoffs, All Net Tryouts, Divisional Evaluations, and a coach’s clinic. The organization serves boys and girls through youth basketball during its seasonal schedule.

• Ages: 8–14 years old
• Schedule: 2025–2026 season includes registration on August 23; All Net Tryouts on September 9, 10, and 11; Divisional Evaluations on September 27 and October 4; practices beginning October 18; weekly games from the November 16 opening game through Week 8 on January 25, with a Holiday Break from December 19 to January 2 and playoffs on January 31 and February 1
• Price: Coaches receive a discount on league fees per team coached.

Sequoia NJB (National Junior Basketball) is a 501(c) non-profit, volunteer-run organization that serves boys and girls from the cities of Redwood City (north of Woodside Road), San Carlos, Belmont, and Redwood Shores. The 2024–2025 basketball season is the 40th year of the chapter serving the community through basketball. The organization placed three Boys Divisional All-Star Teams (4th grade, 6th grade, and 8th grade) in the National All-Star Tournament held in Orange County on March 22–24, 2019, and the 8th grade team won the National Tournament for only the second time in the chapter’s history. Its credentials also include 2019 NJB National Tournament Champions; 8th Grade Boys Divisional All-Star Champs; 2025 D3 Girls All Stars National Silver Bracket Champs; 2025 D3 Boys All-Stars National Silver Bracket Champs; 2025 5th Grade Boys All-Net Silver Bracket Champs; and 2025 6th Grade Boys All-Net National Runner-Up. Coaches receive priority registration, a free coach’s clinic with guidance on drills and practice formats, and contents for a coach’s bag with essentials required to run a team.
