Siena Youth Center offers education, youth and community programs, and critical mental health services for children and teens. The program is one of the services of the St. Francis Center organization and serves elementary, middle, and high school students. Siena Youth Center has provided 1,167 hours of programming and critical mental health services to 270 students.

In 1986, the St. Francis Center began providing food, clothing, and other essential services for low income families out of a small house in the Fair Oaks neighborhood. Since 1986, the organization has been guided by the motto “compassion, not judgment” and partners with individuals and families in North Fair Oaks and surrounding communities to provide education, essential services, youth and community programs, and housing to create community connections so that every person can thrive. Siena Youth Center is part of this organization, which also includes the 10,000 sq. foot St. Francis Center, Holy Family School, and fourteen apartment buildings for low-income families. The leadership team includes Sister Monica Asman and Sister Christina Heltsley. Siena Youth Center’s community involvement includes 50 volunteers who dedicated 2,919 hours to various community efforts.
