Curious Explorers Academy

Curious Explorers Academy offers a play-based program that includes age-appropriate activities that prepare children for kindergarten. Children take part in teacher-guided activities and play that include early reading skills, number, shape, and color recognition, and STEM concepts. Through teacher and peer interactions, children explore learning while teachers encourage play that involves social development and critical thinking skills.

Curious Explorers Academy operates as a Preschool and TK program and was established in 2017. The program holds License #073408947 and is led by Director Diana Alejo. Its stated mission is to support spirited learning, growth, and development of preschool children in a fun, safe, child-centered environment, with a focus on autonomy, a sense of belonging, respect for others, and enthusiasm for exploration and learning. The program describes its approach as a play-rich, developmentally appropriate educational program for an engaged community of children, parents, and staff, and notes that it was founded on the idea that children should have a fun, safe environment where they can play and learn at the same time. Curious Explorers Academy also advertises an Open House on Saturday, March 28th from 9:00am–12:00pm and states that it is now accepting new applications and invites families to schedule a tour.
