My Learning Studio

My Learning Studio offers one-on-one private and virtual tutoring in all academic subjects with personalized learning plans. It also offers small-group Academic Boot Camps with reading, writing, and mathematics, plus classes such as STEAM Science Camp, Creative Arts & Crafts, Reading, Writing, & Riddles, Life Skills, Science of Magic, The Art of Reading & Writing, Games!, Speaking Skills!, and Painting.

Programs

• One-on-one private and virtual tutoring — K-12, adult learners, ESL students, students with special needs, and home-schoolers · 7 days a week, 9:00 am-9:00 pm · Tutoring in all academic subjects; personalized learning plans; in-person or virtual.
• Free Reading Assistance Program — Grades 2nd-6th at a 2nd-3rd grade reading level · Wednesdays, 3:15-3:55 pm · Free weekly program in partnership with the Assistance League of Riverside; led by trained volunteers.
• Academic Boot Camps — 1st-4th grade; Kinder and 5th or 6th grade students may be an option · 2 weeks, 4 days a week (Mon-Thu), 3 hours a day · $357 · Small groups of approximately 5-8; reading, writing, and mathematics; two sessions listed: June 8-18 and July 13-23.
• STEAM Science Camp — Hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math camp.
• Creative Arts & Crafts — Arts workshop with painting, sculpting, and photography.
• Reading, Writing, & Riddles — 1st-5th graders · Classroom activity focusing on reading aloud, cursive, phonics, digraphs, sentence construction, and weekly riddle solving.
• Life Skills — Hands-on class covering first aid, sewing, manners, goal-setting, cooking, and following recipes.
• Science of Magic — 4 consecutive Friday sessions, October 2-23, 12:30 pm · $96 · Explores the science behind tricks, card tricks, polymers, and performance skills.
• The Art of Reading & Writing — 1st-5th graders · 4 consecutive Friday sessions, October 2-23, 9:00 am · $90 · Combines storytelling, reading, writing, and art.
• Games! — Traditional board games class focused on reading, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and social skills.
• Speaking Skills! — Helps students communicate with confidence through presentations, conversations, and impromptu speaking activities.
• Painting — 4 consecutive Friday sessions, October 2-23, 10:30 am · $96 · Hands-on painting techniques including acrylics, watercolors, finger painting, color mixing, and blending.

My Learning Studio has been in operation for more than 20 years, since 2006. Its mission is to provide high-quality tutoring services that empower students to achieve academic success. It has been voted Best Tutoring Service every year since 2006, voted the BEST every year by the Readers’ Choice Awards since 2007, and named The Best Math Tutor in the BEST of the Inland Empire Magazine. It also offers free or discount tutoring for low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk, disadvantaged, and court-appointed children, and partners with the Assistance League of Riverside for the Free Reading Assistance Program.

NO CONTRACTS, just tutoring. No make-up for missed days. Do not bring snacks or water bottles for Academic Boot Camps. Groups of 4 or fewer may be subject to reduced hours. Classes are in English.
