My Learning Studio states that its mission is to provide high-quality tutoring services with personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs. The program reports that its Math Instructional Tutors and tutoring centers have received several awards, and that its Educational Instructors, Teachers, and Tutors come from leading universities in the Riverside area. My Learning Studio has been voted “Best Tutoring Service” every year since 2006, including by the Readers’ Choice Awards since 2007, and was voted “BEST Tutoring Service” from 2007–2021 as well as “The Best Math Tutor” in the Best of the Inland Empire Magazine.

The program offers a Free Reading Assistance Program in partnership with the Assistance League of Riverside for students in 2nd–6th grade who are reading at a 2nd–3rd grade level. My Learning Studio reports that it has tutored thousands of local public, private, and home-schooled students in the Inland Empire and is a longtime Riverside Unified School District supporter. Through My Learning Studio OUTREACH, the program offers free or discounted tutoring for low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk, disadvantaged, and court-appointed children, including situations such as grandparents raising grandchildren and siblings raising siblings.

Tutoring sessions take place in private cubicles, and each private session is held in a private cubicle to minimize distractions and maximize student focus. Summer activities and Academic Boot Camps are always held in small group instruction, and daytime hours are dedicated to home and charter school families and adult learners. The program states that it integrates Common Core Curriculum or a family’s own curriculum into academic instruction, uses multi-sensory learning tools such as tactile, visual, auditory, or kinesthetic methods, and has personal and extensive experience working with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). My Learning Studio describes its private 1-on-1 tutoring rates as the lowest in Riverside County, operates with no contracts, and is privately owned and operated rather than a franchise like Sylvan Learning Center or Mathnasium.
