RUSD Early Childhood Programs

RUSD Early Childhood Programs offers Full Day and Part Day Head Start, State Preschool, and Subsidized Preschool programs at 19 different sites across the district. The program also includes a Spanish Preschool Program at Mountain View and infant and toddler care through the Early Head Start Infant and Toddler Program (Lincoln Early Impact Program). Infant and toddler care is available at Lincoln High School for qualifying families, and all enrollment for these programs takes place online.

• Ages: 6 weeks–4 years old
• Schedule: Full Day and Part Day program options
• Price: *FREE to qualifying families based on income. A Subsidized Partial Payment option is available to families over the State Income Ceilings.

The Early Head Start Infant and Toddler Program (Lincoln Early Impact Program) serves children from 6 weeks to 2 years old and is free of charge for teen parents, expecting parents, and community members who meet program requirements. The review process for preschool applications may take 2–3 weeks.

RUSD Early Childhood Programs is led by Patricia (Trisha) Tran, Coordinator of Early Childhood Programs. The leadership team also includes Jennifer Camargo, Early Childhood Services Specialist, and Family Services Supervisors Amparo Sosa and Patricia Lopez.
