RUSD Early Childhood Programs

RUSD Early Childhood Programs offers Full Day and Part Day Head Start, State Preschool, and Subsidized Preschool programs for children. The program provides preschool options at 19 different sites across the district, including a Spanish Preschool Program at Mountain View. It also includes infant and toddler care through the Lincoln Early Impact Program and infant/toddler care at Lincoln High School for qualifying families, with all preschool enrollment taking place online.

• Ages: 6 weeks–4 years old
• Price: *FREE to qualifying families based on income. A Subsidized Partial Payment option is available to families over the State Income Ceilings. The Early Impact program is FREE of charge for teen parents, expecting parents, and community members who meet program requirements.

The Lincoln Early Impact Program is an Early Head Start Infant and Toddler Program for ages 6 weeks to 2 years and is described as a high quality early childhood education program for infants and toddlers. Riverside Unified School District states that it provides engaging, innovative, and equitable learning experiences for all students. Strategic connections with community partners are described as core to the success of the district.
