PV Breakers Basketball Camp

PV Breakers Basketball Academy offers year-round basketball skill development that includes strength and conditioning, game concepts, developmental practice, team practice, and live games. Camp days include warm up and stretch, free throws, a skill of the day, drills, and trivia. The program runs Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp, and other seasonal camps for boys and girls in grades K–12, with players grouped by age and ability and training programs for all skill levels.

• Schedule: Year-round program with 2–5 sessions per week, mostly on weeknights with occasional weekend series; Spring Break Camp April 6–10, 2026; Summer Camp 2026 sessions June 8–12, June 15–19, June 22–26, July 13–17, and July 20–24
• Price: Lunch option $10 per day; tuition options include 5 full days $350*, 5 half days $280*, 3 full days $230*, 3 half days $180*, single full day $120*, single half day $75 (*includes free Breakers T-shirt; purchase 5 full days and save $250)

A sample full-day camp schedule runs from 8:45am drop-off through 3:00pm pickup and includes attendance, warm up and stretch, free throws, a skill of the day, drills, water breaks, live games where coaches stop play to teach game situations, lunch, and trivia. A sample half-day camp schedule runs from 8:45am drop-off through 12:00pm and includes the same morning warm up, free throws, skill of the day, drills, water break, and live games with in-game teaching. The academy allows players to start at any time, prorates the first month of tuition, offers the option to try one session with no obligation (counted as the first session if the player signs up), and provides sibling discounts.

PV Breakers Basketball Academy was established in 2008. The program is led by Academy Owner and Director Coach Frank and a professional coaching staff, with each group guided by highly qualified and experienced professional coaches. Coach Frank states the program goal as: “Our goal is to foster individual basketball skills, accomplish individual basketball goals, in still the competitive desire to compete, and build quality young men and women for our community.” PV Breakers is described as “the premier basketball program in the South Bay” and “the best basketball in the South Bay,” and it is connected with local Palos Verdes gyms and schools. The program offers individual attention, player evaluations, team building, competitive leagues and tournaments, a free Breakers T-shirt with certain tuition options, and a newsletter with developmental and club team updates and Spring, Winter, and Summer camp information, along with a stated privacy promise to never share contact information with anyone.
