Performing Arts Workshops Summer Camp & After School Programs offers activities in musical theater, guitar, dance, voice, filmmaking, photography, cheer, and stage FX makeup. The program also includes Actors Sizzle Reel, Rock The Mic, LOL Comedy, Comedy, Debate, Writers Room, Vocal Recording & Production, Top Pop Choir, and a Musical Theater ~ Drama production class featuring LILO & STITCH.

Performing Arts Workshops Summer Camp & After School Programs has been operating for over 30 years. The teaching staff are working professionals who have or are working toward their bachelor’s or master’s degrees in their disciplines, and they have prior experience teaching children. All teachers clear a criminal background check before being placed in the classroom. The program states a mission of offering affordable after school enrichment and summer camp arts programming for school-aged children, with a focus on character and life skills and on using the arts to learn communication, empathy, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

The program has 15 summer camp locations throughout the Los Angeles area, with sites listed in Brentwood, El Segundo, Hollywood, Long Beach, Northridge, Pasadena, Redondo, Rancho Palos Verdes, Studio City, Torrance, West LA, and Woodland Hills. Campers are able to participate in camp and receive parts in shows without auditioning, and family and friends may attend shows for free. The program lists that there are no additional production costs or fees for photos, video, costumes, microphones, sets, theater, or tickets, and that free camp photos and video reels are posted on Facebook for families to view and download. Parents are encouraged to take their own photos and video of camp shows. A virtual camp tour is available.
