The Ross Preschool describes itself as a non-profit built for the community and founded on the belief that exceptional early childhood education should serve the community, and states that when families join TRP, their whole family joins a community of like-minded Marin families who genuinely show up for each other. It also notes that Head of School David Allen-Hughes volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Parents describe The Ross Preschool as “truly one-of-a-kind,” highlighting the teaching staff, the emphasis on social/emotional development, and the sense of community among families. One parent notes that their child calls it his “happy place,” and another shares that their twins “loved every minute” of their three years there and that the parenting community includes families from across central Marin who truly support each other.
