DPX Dance Studio offers dance classes, workshops, and team experiences that include Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz. Participants dance, rehearse to perform, work in teams, attend auditions, and may compete and take part in team bonding experiences.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Auditions are scheduled with Beginner Team from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM, Apprentice and Production Teams (intermediate and advanced) from 2:00 PM–4:00 PM, and the Xclusive Team (18+ years old) from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Price: FIRST class is free for new members!
Dance Production Xclusive, the organization behind DPX Dance Studio, was established in 2008 and rebranded in 2019. Its stated mission is to instill confidence in youth and adults through dance, with a focus on movement, performing, and teamwork. The program offers classes and workshops for a wide range of interests and abilities in Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz. Instructors have over six years of dance and teaching experience in these dance styles.
The studio outlines four team levels that dancers can audition for: Beginner, Apprentice (intermediate), Production (advanced), and Xclusive (18+ years old). Each student is required to commit for the whole dance season and is not allowed to compete and perform at other studios. The program has increased chances for students to perform, give back to the community, and take part in team bonding experiences.
