About
Sacramento Alliance Soccer Club offers a competitive soccer program where players train and play soccer. The program provides players in Sacramento with an organized, high quality, affordable, year around and seasonal competitive soccer program. Teams compete in either the National Premier League (NPL) or NorCal Premier Soccer’s Region 6 League and can play at bronze, silver, gold, premier, and NPL levels.
Sacramento Alliance Soccer Club is officially registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (as Sacramento Soccer Alliance) and is a Member Club in NorCal Premier Soccer (NCPS) competition. The club uses a player centered approach and focuses on building strong technical and tactical skills while fostering a lifelong love for the game. Programs are designed for every stage of a player’s journey, from bronze and silver to gold, premier, and NPL levels, in a community that is competitive, challenging, and fun, where every player feels supported, motivated, and proud to belong. Coaches go through a rigorous application process and include licensed coaches and trainers, led by a Director of Coaching with success as a professional footballer and years of experience as both a player and youth coach. The leadership team includes Director of Coaching Jack Gurr and a Director of Communications. The club describes itself as an alliance built through soccer and driven by passion. In 2010, Land Park Soccer Club (LPSC) and Greenhaven Soccer Club (GHSC) came together to create a competitive, non-recreational soccer program, forming Sacramento Soccer Alliance (SSA), and in 2025 SSA adopted a new name: Sacramento Alliance SC (SASC). The mission of Sacramento Alliance Soccer Club is to provide each player with the opportunity to play soccer in a supportive and rewarding environment that emphasizes fun, love for the game and skill learning at a level that still creates a challenging landscape for players who aspire to reach their full soccer potential. The club is community driven in the development of the player and remains strongly allied with Land Park Soccer Club, working together to ensure young athletes in the community have every opportunity to grow, compete, and succeed.
