Sacramento Raiders Youth Football & Cheer offers youth football and cheer programs, along with a football and cheer skills and drills camp. Participants take part in football activities, cheer activities, and a combined football and cheer skills and drills camp.

• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Football & Cheer Skills & Drills Camp from June 2, 2026 through June 25, 2026, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM; the official 2026 season starts July 1, 2026, with practice from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Price: Football & Cheer Skills & Drills Camp is free; Early Bird Special (ends 5/31/26): $210 Football, $325 Cheer; starting 6/1/26: $275 Football, $385 Cheer

Since 1990, Sacramento Raiders Youth Football & Cheer has served youth in the community and is celebrating 36 years of youth service. The organization’s mission states that it provides a safe, positive, and supportive environment for children to learn and grow through football and cheer, and that it is led by dedicated volunteer coaches and staff who focus on sports, education, discipline, self-esteem, teamwork, dedication, leadership, and good sportsmanship. The mission also states that the organization believes youth sports should inspire confidence, build character, and create lifelong memories, and that it is committed to excellence, community, mentorship, and providing a rewarding experience for every child and family involved.

The leadership team includes a President, who can be contacted at 916-271-8077, and a Cheer Coordinator, who can be contacted at 916-546-1360. Sacramento Raiders Youth Football & Cheer is a member of the NorCal Youth Football & Cheer Conference under the national organization American Youth Football. The program serves more than 200 youth athletes ages 5 to 14 each season and is based in Sacramento, California.

The Sacramento Raiders Youth Organization describes parent involvement as playing a large role in the success of the organization and athletes and lists many ways to volunteer, including Team Moms and Parent Advisors, scholastic and tutor programs, mentorship programs, sponsorships and donations, fundraising and events, concessions and game day support, and board and committee assistance.
